- Macfresh 0.25 mg tablets are used in the treatment for:
- Anxiety
- Insomnia
- Panic disorders
Contraindications
- Do not take Macfresh 0.25 mg tablets or take with caution:
- If you have been diagnosed with acute pulmonary insufficiency
- If you have been diagnosed with chronic psychosis
- If you are in a comatose state
- If you are hypersensitive to any of the ingredients of this medicine
- If you have been diagnosed with increased eye pressure
- If you have been diagnosed with myasthenia gravis (weakness of muscles)
- If you have been diagnosed with narrow-angle glaucoma (rise in fluid pressure in the eyes)
- If you experience obsessional or phobic states
- If you have severe liver impairment
- If you have been diagnosed with a sleep disorder
- If you have severe lung disease
Side effects
- Side effects of Macfresh 0.25 mg tablets include:
- Decrease in white blood cells

- You have suicidal thoughts. Since the Macfresh 0.25 mg tablet has the potential to cause suicidal thoughts in the user, you should regularly supervise its use.
- You have any problems with your liver or kidneys after taking this medicine. Your liver/renal function should be closely monitored.
- You have been taking Macfresh 0.25 mg tablets for the long term. Individuals with a history of addiction must use this medication with caution as this medicine has habit-forming potential.
- You notice a decrease in your pulse rate. In large doses, this medicine might induce a drop in blood pressure, leading to migraines, blackouts, and other side effects.
Directions for Use
- Follow your doctor's instructions on the dosage and duration of this medication.
- Consume the tablet as a whole. It should not be crushed, mashed, or broken.

Interactions
Interactions with other medicines
- Macfresh 0.25 mg tablets should not be taken with certain antiretrovirals like Abamune, A Bec L. Combining these medications may raise the blood concentration of Etizolam.
- Macfresh 0.25 mg tablets should not be taken with certain antifungal antibiotics such as Abhope. Combining these medications may cause excessive blood levels of Etizolam.
- Macfresh 0.25 mg tablets should not be taken with certain antiviral medications such as Adesera and Adheb. Combining these medications may induce an excessive blood concentration of Macfresh 0.25 mg tablets.
- Macfresh 0.25 mg tablets should not be taken with certain antipsychotic medications such as Skizotus and Amipheral. On combining, Macfresh may increase the level of Amisulpride which may contribute to life-threatening impaired pulse rate.
