Medical Description

Leucocal injection is used to reduce toxicity from methotrexate and other folate-antagonist treatments. Its active ingredient is leucovorin.

Contraindications

If you are allergic to any ingredient of this medicine, do not use it. Leucovorin should not be used as the sole treatment for pernicious anaemia or another condition caused by vitamin B12 deficiency. Tell your doctor about seizures and all medicines you use.
