• You are allergic to Itraconazole or any other ingredients of this medicine.
• If you are suffering from heart problems.
• If you are pregnant or planning for a baby.

• Abdominal Pain
• Nausea
• Rash
• Headache
• Dizziness
• Tingling sensation
• Vomiting
• Diarrhoea
• Constipation
• Indigestion
• Altered sense of taste

Other General Warnings

• You have severe liver or kidney problems.
• You have or had heart problems like heart failure.
• If you experience shortness of breath, unexpected weight gain, swollen legs or stomach or tiredness, then stop taking this medicine as these may be signs of heart failure.

• Do not store this medicine above 25°C.
• Keep out of the reach of children.

Interactions with other medicines

• Some medicines can affect the way Itrasys 200mg capsule works or Itrasys 200mg tablet capsule itself can reduce the effectiveness of other medicines taken at the same time.
• Especially if you take certain medicines to treat tuberculosis like Rifabutin, antibiotics like Rifampicin, medicines used as anaesthetic like Alfentanil, Fentanyl, medicines used to treat psychiatric disorders, like Reboxetine, medicines for anxiety, like Alprazolam, Brotizolam, Buspirone, etc.
• Medicines to treat fits, like Phenytoin, Carbamazepine, to treat blood clots, like Cilostazol, to treat allergic reactions, like Budesonide, Dexamethasone, Fluticasone, Halofantrine, Methylprednisolone and Ebastine.
• If you take certain medicines to treat health conditions to prevent organ transplant rejection, like Sirolimus or Tacrolimus, treating cancer, like Busulfan, Docetaxel, Trimetrexate, Vinca alkaloids, medicines for HIV, like Indinavir, Ritonavir and Saquinavir, Diabetes, etc.
• Tell your doctor about all the medicines, supplements or herbals you are currently taking or might take to avoid any possible interaction.
