Iborest Tablets
Description
Iborest tablet is a prescription medicine used to treat irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) and its symptoms like abdominal pain, flatulence, and abdominal spasms. IBS is a chronic disease that causes inf
lammation of the large intestines. Iborest tablets can also treat abdominal spasms and cramps associated with other conditions like peptic ulcers, diarrhoea, enterocolitis, etc. The active ingredients in Iborest tablets are Chlordiazepoxide and Clidinium. Chlordiazepoxide increases the action of a chemical messenger that lowers the activity of excited nerves and helps treat anxiety associated with IBS. Clidinium relaxes and calms the intestinal muscles, which helps relieve stomach pain and cramps. The doctor’s directions for use of Iborest tablets should be strictly followed. It should be used only on a doctor’s prescription. It is a habit-forming medication, so the dose should be carefully monitored. The dose of Iborest tablets needs to be slowly tapered before stopping. Abrupt stoppage can lead to withdrawal symptoms. This medicine is not meant for children and adolescents under 18.
