Medical Description
Duoflam Spray 60 ml is a pain-relieving medication. Reducing the inflammation and pain caused by various conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, osteoporosis, etc., is the primary use of Duoflam Spray 60 ml. It is also used to lower back pain, pain due to an injury, etc.
It is composed of Diclofenac, Menthol, and Methyl Salicylate as its active ingredients. The mode of action of Duoflam Spray 60 ml is by blocking specific receptors and lowering chemical substances responsible for causing pain, thus resulting in reduced pain signals. It contains menthol, which produces calm and cooling effects at the injury site. This spray is meant for external application only.
Burning or stinging sensation, irritation, itching, redness, etc., at the site of application, are some of the common side effects of Duoflam Spray 60 ml. Eventually, these side effects will go away as the body gets used to them. However, consult a doctor if they get worse or do not subside for a long time. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, using other medications, or have any other conditions.
Uses
- As per CDSCO, Duoflam Spray 60 ml is used to manage mild to moderate pain in patients with various conditions.
- It can be used in acute (injury, accident) and chronic conditions (Rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, osteoarthritis, etc.)
Contraindications
- If you have any allergic reaction to Tramadol, Diclofenac, Methyl Salicylate, linseed Oil and menthol, avoid taking Duoflam Spray 60 ml
- If you are already using similar medications or sprays.
- If there is an open wound at the site of application.

Directions for Use
- You should apply the Duoflam Spray 60 ml as prescribed by your doctor.
- Duoflam Spray 60 ml is for external application only.
- Try to apply this spray at the site of the pain.
- Wash your hands before applying it.
- Use Duoflam Spray 60 ml only on a clean and dry surface.
- Do not wash the area after applying this spray.
- Avoid applying other ointments or lotions to the same place after using this medicine without asking your doctor.
- Consult your doctor if the pain has not subsided by using this spray.
Storage and disposal
Store Duoflam Spray 60 ml in a dry place at room temperature. Keep this spray away from sunlight and moisturiser. Keep Duoflam Spray 60 ml away from the pets and children. Dispose of this spray carefully. Do not flush unused/expired medication in the toilet. Discard Duoflam Spray 60 ml properly after use or after the expiration date.

Overdose
