Side effects of Dedep Plus tablets include sleep disturbances or trouble sleeping, sexual problems, nausea, fatigue and feeling dull, increased sweating, headache, and confusion. Treatment with antidepressants may cause unusual behavioural changes, worsening of symptoms, or give rise to suicidal behavior. It is crucial for the family and other caregivers of the patient to be attentive to such changes. Keeping a close watch, especially during the initial few months of starting treatment, is of utmost importance. Other treatment modalities, including stopping treatment, should be considered if there is any worsening of symptoms of depression or the rise of other symptoms which could cause further worsening of depression or suicidal behaviour, or there is a new emergence of suicidal behaviour, especially if such symptoms were absent at the time of initial evaluation and onset of treatment.
