Crestor 5mg Tab 30'S consists of the salt rosuvastatin which belongs to the statin family of medicines. Its uses include decreasing the levels of bad cholesterol, also known as low-density lipoprotein (LDL), in the body.

How Does It Work?
Cholesterol is made by an enzyme HMG-CoA reductase. The statin composition of Crestor 5mg Tab 30'S inhibits this enzyme. As a result, the medicine lowers the levels of bad cholesterol in the body. It also increases the levels of good cholesterol, also known as high-density lipoprotein (HDL), in the body.
