• As per CDSCO and USFDA, Cloba Tablet is used for:
• Treatment of Seizures Associated with Lennox-Gastaut Syndrome
• Treatment of Acute and chronic anxiety

• If you’re allergic to any ingredient of the Cloba Tablet, i.e. Clobazam.
• If you are already taking antidepressants, anti-anxiety or sedative medications.
• If you are taking narcotic or opioid pain relievers.
• If you have myasthenia-gravis (a condition that causes muscle weakness).
• If you have acute angle glaucoma, which increases the fluid pressure in the eyes.
• If you have respiratory depression, which is a slow and steady decline in breathing.
• If you have liver or kidney diseases.

• Drowsiness
• Constipation
• Drooling
• Body pain
• Change in appetite

Other General Warnings

• You have any allergic reactions after taking Cloba Tablet.
• You have any self-harming thoughts or suicidal ideation.
• You experience any severe side effects persistently.
• Your symptoms do not resolve, or there is worsening of your condition.
• You are an elderly individual over 65 years.
• You’ve a history of mild or severe liver and kidney disease.
• You have withdrawal symptoms like agitation, nausea, tremor, sweating and confusion.
• You are using oral contraceptives.
• You are using any ayurvedic or herbal medicines, vitamins, and other health supplements.

• Take the Cloba Tablet as prescribed by the doctor.
• You can take this medicine with or without food or as prescribed.
• Take this medicine on a regular schedule, preferably at the same time every day.
• Swallow the tablet as a whole with a glass of water. Do not break/crush the tablet or chew this medicine.
• Do not take this tablet with other medications without consulting your doctor.
• Don’t stop taking this medication abruptly, as it may lead to withdrawal side effects.
• Do not consume if the package has been opened.
• Don’t exceed the dosage, even if you cannot feel its effects.

Interactions with other medicines

• Tell your doctor what medications, herbal products, vitamins and nutritional supplements you plan to take as there is a chance of medicine Interaction. Many medicines can interact with Cloba Tablet, making it less effective or increasing side effects. This includes -
• Interaction with opioid or narcotic pain relievers such as morphine, oxycodone, fentanyl, hydrocodone, tramadol, codeine can increase the side effects like drowsiness.
• Interaction with Antidepressants or mood-elevating medicines like fluoxetine and desipramine can cause increased side effects.
• Interaction with antifungal medicines like ketoconazole, fluconazole and itraconazole can reduce the effects of it

Interactions with food items

• You can continue with the regular diet as food doesn’t influence the effect of Cloba Tablet. However, avoid caffeine-containing foods like cola, tea, coffee, chocolates, etc. It may reduce the ability of this medicine to calm the brain, and the condition may worsen.
