- If you had a history of any heart disease or have had a cardiac arrest.
- If you are allergic to citalopram.
- If you have liver disease.
- If you take Monoamine oxidase(MAO) inhibitors.

Directions for Use
- Citalin tablets should only be used after a recommendation by a doctor.
- Citalin tablets can be taken with or without food.
- Citalin tablets should be swallowed whole with a glass of water. Do not chew, break or crush it.
- Avoid using Citalin tablets if the seal of the packet is not intact.
- For optimal pharmacological effects, Citalin tablets should be taken at the same time every day.
- Do not allow anyone else to use your medications as dosage amounts may vary from person to person.

Interactions with other medicines
- Furosemide- A person may experience symptoms like nausea, weight gain, vomiting and altered frequency in urination.
- Amikacin- Symptoms like fluid retention altered frequency in urination may be seen in some patients.
- Chloramphenicol- It may decrease the therapeutic effect of Citalin tablets.
- Ethinyl estradiol- These pills are commonly used as contraceptives, and their effects may be reduced if used along with Citalin tablets.

- No adverse interaction of Citalin tablets with any food is known yet. However, you should strictly follow the dietary instructions as advised by your doctor. In case of any fluctuation in weight, consult a dietician and exercise regularly.
