Citalin 5 MG Description

Citalin tablet is used commonly to treat depression along with anxiety. Citalin tablets contain Citalopram as a chief ingredient. Citalopram works by increasing serotonin (a chemical found in our bra

in). Serotonin plays a vital role in controlling the mood of a person. By taking Citalin tablets, a person gets relief from the symptoms of anxiety and depression. Citalin tablets require a prescription from a well trained medical professional. Citalin tablets do not have a habit-forming tendency; however, the person consuming it should be inspected daily by his caregiver for any signs of behaviour change. There is a probability of suicidal tendencies in some of its users. In case of any behaviour change, consult your doctor as soon as possible. Citalin tablets should be taken at a fixed amount of time as prescribed by your doctor; however, it is best to take them in the morning. Some people may experience a lack of sleep as one of its side effects after taking it at night. This medication should not be given to children below 12 years.

Citalin tablets should only be used after a recommendation by a doctor.
Citalin tablets can be taken with or without food.
Citalin tablets should be swallowed whole with a glass of water. Do not chew, break or crush it.

For optimal pharmacological effects, Citalin tablets should be taken at the same time every day.
