Interactions with other medicines

  • Pilocarpine may intensify the effect of anticholinesterases and decrease the effects of anticholinergics
  • Adrenergic blockers may decrease the effects of pilocarpine
  • The effect of pilocarpine will be increased when used along with MAOIs, phenothiazines, antihistamines and tricyclic antidepressants
