Candiforce 200 capsule is a medicine used to treat fungal infections. It works by preventing fungal growth and is effective for treating infections of the mouth, throat, vagina, fingernails, and toes. It damages fungal cell membranes, leading to their death.
It is important to take Candiforce 200 capsule exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Swallow the capsule whole with food. To achieve the best results, take it regularly and continue to use it until your prescription is finished, even if you feel better. Stopping the medication too soon may cause the infection to return, and missing doses can increase your risk of developing difficult-to-treat infections in the future.
A few other capsules with itraconazole as their composition are It Mac 200mg capsule, Canditral 200mg capsule, Itromed 200mg capsule, Itrancure 200mg capsule, and Itaspor 200mg capsule.
If your condition does not improve or worsen, inform your doctor. - To avoid pregnancy while using Candiforce 200 Capsule, use a reliable method of contraception. Do not take antacids within 2 hours of taking Candiforce 200 Capsule.

Interactions with other medicines
- Medicines used to reduce acidity, when used concomitantly with Candiforce 200 Capsule, may interfere with the effect of this medicine. Their use together must be avoided. If the use of antacids is unavoidable, then there must be a gap of 1-2 hours between the doses of these two medicines.
- Concomitant use of antibiotics like isoniazid, rifabutin, rifampicin, a medicine used to reduce fits like carbamazepine, antiviral medicines like efavirenz, herbs like St. John's Wort with Candiforce 200 Capsule must be avoided as they may reduce the effect of this medicine.
- Antibiotics like ciprofloxacin and clarithromycin and Antiviral medicines like ritonavir, when used together with Candiforce 200 Capsule, tend to increase the effectiveness of this medicine and may increase the risk of side effects. They must be used cautiously.
- Discuss with the doctor regarding medication or herbal supplements that you take while taking this medicine to avoid interactions.
