Amizep H Tablets Description
Amizep h tablets are generally used to treat the symptoms of depression. Amizep h tablets contain amitriptyline and chlordiazepoxide as the chief ingredient. Amitriptyline is categorised under a group of medications called tricyclic antidepressants. Chlordiazepoxide is an example of benzodiazepine, and it prevents the excessive activity of neurons (nerve cells) in the brain. They work by affecting certain chemical messengers in our central nervous system and balancing them to decrease the symptoms of depression along with anxiety.
Amizep h tablets should only be consumed after a recommendation by a doctor. The dosage of this medicine may change from person to person, so do not let anyone use your medication. Amizep h tablets should be used with caution in patients with liver or kidney pathology. Dose adjustments may be needed in such patients; thus, consultation by a doctor is necessary.
Some people, while using Amizep h tablets, may experience suicidal thoughts. Thus the caregivers must keep an eye on their patients, and in case of any change in behaviour or habits, they should immediately consult a physician to get medical help. Before using Amizep h tablets, give your physician a detailed history of any medical conditions you are diagnosed with and a list of all the medications you have used or are currently using....

Mode of Action of Amizep H Tablets
How Does It Work?
Amizep h tablets function by affecting certain chemical messengers in the brain, which affects our mood and helps in decreasing the symptoms of depression.
Amitriptyline affects chemical messengers like serotonin and noradrenaline, which are directly related to our change in behaviour and thinking abilities. Chlordiazepoxide, on the other hand, belongs to a class of medications called benzodiazepines. It increases the level of GABA (gamma-aminobutyric acid), which is an inhibitory neurotransmitter. It decreases the overactivity of brain cells, thereby reducing anxiety symptoms. However, its dose may change from person to person, and you should not take anyone's medication or dosage amount without having a proper consultation with a doctor....
