Medical Description
Aldigesic P tablet relieves pain, swelling and inflammation associated with musculoskeletal conditions like arthritis, spondylitis and lower back pain. This medicine can also relieve a headache, toot
hache, ear pain, etc. It contains aceclofenac and paracetamol as its active ingredients. Pain and inflammation are caused in response to an injury or harm. Your body produces certain chemicals that cause the sensation of pain, swelling and inflammation. Aldigesic P inhibits the action of these chemicals and eases pain and swelling. Aldigesic P should be taken as directed by the doctor and in the correct doses for the exact duration as prescribed. Swallow it with a glass of water, with or after having your food, to avoid stomach problems. Do not skip a dose or consume more than that recommended by the doctor. Also, do not abruptly discontinue this medicine without first consulting your doctor. While using this medication, avoid alcohol and other prescription or OTC medications that contain acetaminophen, inform the doctor if you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy or breastfeeding and about your detailed medical history.

- For treatment of pain & swelling of joints (osteoarthritis & rheumatoid arthritis) and spinal cord (ankylosing spondylitis).
- For relieving backache, dental pain, gynaecological pain, pain in the ear, nose and throat.
Contraindications of ALDIGESIC P STRIP OF 10 TABLETS
- If you are allergic to aceclofenac, paracetamol or any of the ingredients of Aldigesic P tablet.
- If you have a history of asthma, skin rashes, swelling & nasal congestion after taking aspirin, ibuprofen or other painkillers.
- If you have any problems with your liver or kidney.
- If you have a history of frequent stomach ulcers or bleeding.
- If you are pregnant, especially in the third trimester of pregnancy.
- If you are suffering from any severe heart problems like heart failure, or high blood pressure.

- You have any problems related to your kidney or liver.
- You have disorders related to blood clotting.
- You have skin rashes & lesions after taking Aldigesic P tablet.
- You have asthma, as this tablet can worsen your condition.
- You have an autoimmune disease called systemic lupus erythematosus.
- You consume alcohol in excess regularly, as concomitant use of Aldigesic P tablet can damage the liver.
- You are suffering from gastrointestinal problems like bleeding, ulcers in the intestine (perforation) or Crohn's disease
- You are an elderly patient or taking diuretics or have kidney disorders; this medicine can increase the risk of kidney failure. Your doctor may ask you to do renal function tests for the same.

- Aldigesic P tablet is used to reduce pain and swelling in conditions like osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, low back pain, tooth pain, gynaecological pain and painful and inflammatory conditions of the ear, nose and throat. It should not be used for treating any condition other than that specified by your doctor....
- This medicine is recommended for short-term use only. Do not take more than the daily dose of Aldigesic P tablet, as it may affect the liver or cause allergic reactions.
- You should inform your doctor if you have experienced asthma, rhinitis, swelling of the face/lips/tongue or hives after taking aspirin or other NSAIDs in the past.
- Before taking this medicine, inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning on getting pregnant or breastfeeding. Also, inform your doctor about all your medications and medical history.
- Talk to your doctor if you have suffered from alcoholism in the past.
- Nausea, vomiting, rashes and skin redness can occur as side effects of this medicine in some individuals. If side effects bother you, please inform your doctor.
- Discontinue this product and inform your doctor immediately if you notice skin rashes, lesions in lips/tongue/floor of the mouth or any other allergic reactions after taking Aldigesic P tablet.

Interactions with other medicines
- Some medicines can affect the way the Aldigesic P tablet works or this tablet itself can reduce the effectiveness of other medicines taken at the same time.
- Tell your doctor about all the medicines, supplements or herbals you are currently taking or might take to avoid any possible interaction.
- Especially, if you are taking medicines for high blood pressure, steroidal medicines, painkillers, medicines for HIV, blood thinner medicines, antibiotics and medicines for diabetes.
- Other medicines containing paracetamol should not be taken along with the Aldigesic P tablet.
- Aldigesic tablets should not be used for 8-12 days after taking a medicine, mifepristone as the Aldigesic P tablet can reduce the effectiveness of mifepristone.
- This medicine if taken along with steroids, anticoagulants and certain brain-related medicine can increase the risk of bleeding.
