Ibuprofen+Paracetamol is a combination medicine. It is used to relieve pain suc
h as migraine, headache, backache, menstrual pain, dental pain, joint pain, rheumatic and muscular pain. It also helps in fever. Both these medicines work by reducing the chemical substances in the body that cause pain, inflammation & fever. Ibuprofen and paracetamol both are pain killers which belong to a class of medicines called NSAID's (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs). Ibuprofen+Paracetamol is available in the form of tablet, capsule, syrup, suspension, cream. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy or breastfeeding and about all the medicines and supplements you take and all the conditions or diseases you suffer from before starting ibuprofen+paracetamol.
Uses of Ibuprofen+Paracetamol / Acetaminophen
- Ibuprofen+Paracetamol is used to relieve mild-to-moderate pain in conditions such as toothache, ear pain, joint pain, headache, pain during menses, etc.
- It is also used in fever.

When should one not use Ibuprofen+Paracetamol / Acetaminophen
- If you are allergic to ibuprofen, paracetamol or similar medicines (painkillers).
- If you have serious heart failure problems or heart-related disorders.
- If you have problems with your liver or kidneys.
- If you had or have stomach bleeding, ulcer and inflammation of stomach lining.
- If you have problems related to blood clotting, bleeding disorders.
- It should not be used in patients less than 18 years old, pregnant women (last trimester).
