- Zyven Od Plus Tablet is used in,
- Treatment of depression
- Treatment of major depressive disorder (a type of depression with a consistent feeling of sadness and low mood)
Contraindications
- If you are allergic or hypersensitive to desvenlafaxine, clonazepam, or the inactive ingredient of Zyven Od Plus Tablet.
- If you are currently using MAO Inhibitors like selegiline. Zyven Od Plus can be consumed only after 14 days of stopping MAO Inhibitors.

- You have a history of liver or kidney disorder.
- You do not notice any changes after more than a month of taking the Zyven Od Tablets. It usually takes 2-4 weeks to see any effect of the Zyven Od Tablets. Continue taking medicine as advised.
- You continue feeling restless. It can happen within weeks of starting the Zyven Od Tablets.
- You notice changes in thoughts or increased suicidal thoughts and hallucinations.
- Your job requires you to operate heavy machinery or drive a vehicle while undergoing treatment of Zyven Od Plus Tablet.
- You have increased blood pressure.
- You feel pressure in your eyes or any sort of visual changes.
- You want to alter the dose of Zyven Od Tablet or want to discontinue the medicine.
Directions for Use
- Zyven Od Tablet can be taken with or without food.
- For optimal pharmacological effects, take Zyven Od Tablet schedule at the same time every day.
- Swallow Zyven Od Tablet whole with some water. Do not chew, crush or break it.
- Do not alter the dose of Zyven Od Tablet without consulting your doctor.
- Do not discontinue the use of Zyven Od Tablet abruptly, as this may worsen your condition.

Interactions with other medicines
- To avoid side effects associated with medicine interactions, it is important to inform the doctor about all medicines and health supplements you are currently taking.
- Zyven Od Plus tablet is known to interact with:;
- Aspirin, clopidogrel (blood thinners)- it can increase the risk of bruising and bleeding
- Acetaminophen (painkiller), azithromycin (antibiotic)- it can decrease the metabolism of acetaminophen and azithromycin if used in combination
- Almotriptan (migraine medicine) - it can increase the risk of severity of side effects
- Fluoxetine (antidepressant) - it can increase the risk of serotonin syndrome characterised by insomnia, muscle rigidity, agitation, high blood pressure, confusion and increased heart rate
- Nitrofurantoin (antibiotic)- it can increase the concentration of Zyven Tablet in the body
Interactions with food items
- Zyven Od Plus tablet is not known to interact with any particular food item. A regular diet can be followed unless advised otherwise by the doctor.
