Volga M Tablet is used to treat type 2 diabetes mellitus in adults along with diet and exercise.

Contraindications of Volga M 0.3mg Strip Of 10 Tablets

If you are allergic to metformin or voglibose or any of the ingredients of Volga M Tablet.
If you have kidney problems.
If you have metabolic acidosis, including diabetic ketoacidosis, with or without coma.
If you have a severe infection, before and after an operation or have serious trauma.
If you have a gastrointestinal blockage or are at risk of it.

Pregnancy

Can I take Volga M 0.3mg Strip Of 10 Tablets during pregnancy?

There is limited information on the effect of Volga M Tablet during pregnancy and hence should not be used in pregnant women. This medicine should only be used in pregnant women if recommended by the doctor after assessing the need and the risk.

Breast Feeding

Can I take Volga M 0.3mg Strip Of 10 Tablets while breastfeeding?

Volga M Tablet passes into human breast milk. It is recommended that breastfeeding should be discontinued during treatment with this medicine.

Driving

Can I drive if I have consumed Volga M 0.3mg Strip Of 10 Tablets?

Volga M Tablet does not affect your ability to drive. However, if you experience any effects after taking this medicine that may affect your ability to drive safely, it is advised to avoid driving.

Alcohol

Can I consume alcohol with Volga M 0.3mg Strip Of 10 Tablets?

Alcohol is known to increase the effect of Volga M Tablet. Therefore, alcohol intake should be avoided while taking this medicine.

You are suffering from any kind of heart condition like heart failure or stroke.
You are an elderly, debilitated or malnourished person.

You have adrenal or pituitary insufficiency or alcohol intoxication.

Volga M Tablet contains a combination of voglibose and metformin as active substances.
