Vegaz Od 1.2 G Description

Vegaz OD tablet is used to treat ulcerative colitis, a condition that causes inflammation and ulcers in the lining of the large intestine, and to prevent its symptoms from recurring. It contains mesalazine (also called mesalamine or 5-aminosalicylic acid) as its active ingredient.

Vegaz OD works by stopping certain substances in the body that may cause inflammation. It should only be taken after consulting a doctor and in the doses and duration as prescribed. It is not recommended for use in children below 6 years old.

Before taking this medication, please let your doctor know if you have kidney or liver problems, a gastrointestinal blockage, or are pregnant or breastfeeding. It is also essential to inform your doctor about any other medications you are taking, as some may interact with or be affected by this medication.

The most common side effects of Vegaz OD tablet include nausea, diarrhea, stomach discomfort, headache, itching, flatulence, and vomiting. Please contact your doctor if these symptoms persist, do not go away, or worsen.
