Valance 500mg Bottle Of 100ml Colourless Solution
Description
Valance oral solution is a medicine used to manage manic episodes in people with bipolar disorder, especially when other treatment options are not suitable or well tolerated. During a manic phase, a person may feel unusually energetic, irritable, restless, overly confident, or may sleep very little. This medicine helps calm these symptoms and brings mood and behaviour back toward balance. In some patients who respond well, the doctor may advise continuing treatment to help prevent future mood episodes.
This medicine works by stabilising activity in the brain. It increases the effect of a natural calming chemical called GABA, which helps reduce overactive nerve signals. By doing this, Valance oral solution helps control mood swings, reduce agitation, and improve emotional stability. It is important to take it exactly as prescribed, at the same time each day, and preferably with or after food to reduce stomach discomfort.
Valance oral solution is not suitable for everyone. It should not be used during pregnancy because it can seriously harm the unborn baby, and special precautions are required for women who could become pregnant. It is also not recommended for people with certain liver problems, metabolic disorders, or specific genetic conditions. Regular medical follow-up and blood tests may be needed to ensure the medicine remains safe and effective.
Some people may experience side effects such as nausea, vomiting, tremors, diarrhoea, or stomach pain, especially when starting treatment. Drowsiness can occur, so activities like driving should be avoided until you know how the medicine affects you. Alcohol is best avoided, as it can increase side effects and strain the liver. Always inform your doctor about other medicines you are taking and never stop or change the dose on your own.
