Tapenax Er 50 MG Description

Neopride Injection contains levosulpiride, which is an important antipsychotic and prokinetic (promotes motility of gastrointestinal tract). It is a selective dopamine antagonist and also has mood-el

evating properties. As it promotes the motility of the gastrointestinal tract(GIT), it is also used in GIT dysmotility. Neopride Injection reduces the pressure of the lower oesophagal sphincter ( muscle covering the lower end of the oesophagus to prevent the backflow of food from the stomach), thereby improving the symptoms of reflux in GORD or gastro-oesophageal reflux disease. By binding with certain types of dopamine receptors in the brain, it acts as a central antidopaminergic agent and improves mood and behaviour in schizophrenia.
