Mode of Action of T Let Amh Strip Of 15 Tablets
How Does It Work?
T Let Amh tablet contains three medicine: amlodipine, hydrochlorothiazide and telmisartan. Amlodipine dilates the coronary arteries, increasing heart oxygen delivery in patients. Telmisartan blocks the effects of angiotensin II; this relaxes the blood vessels and lowers the blood pressure. Hydrochlorothiazide is a diuretic that removes water, sodium and certain electrolytes through the urine....

- Take medicine as prescribed by the doctor
- Do not break, chew or crush the tablet
- Swallow it with a glass of water
Interactions of T Let Amh Strip Of 15 Tablets
Interactions with other medicines
- Concomitant use of lithium with angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors has been linked to reversible increases in serum lithium concentrations and toxicity
- Concomitant use of the above medicinal products may lead to increases in serum potassium
- Co-administration of metformin with hydrochlorothiazide may induce lactic acidosis
- NSAIDs, when given with diuretic and antihypertensives, may reduce the antihypertensive effect
- Thiazide diuretics may increase the serum calcium levels due to reduced excretion
- Concomitant use of amlodipine with CYP3A4 inhibitors may significantly increase amlodipine exposure
- Thiazides may exacerbate the hyperglycaemic impact of beta-blockers and diazoxide
- Anticholinergic medicines may increase the bioavailability of thiazide-type diuretics by reducing gastrointestinal motility and the rate at which the stomach empties.
