Szetalo Plus Md Tablet Description

Szetalo Plus Md tablet is a prescription medicine used to treat anxiety disorders. There are five types of anxiety disorders: Generalised Anxiety Disorder, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Panic

Disorder, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), and Social Anxiety Disorder. Anxiety disorder comprises a group of symptoms like a sense of impending danger, trouble concentrating, rapid heart rate, panic, feeling weak or tired, sweating, and overthinking. The active ingredients in Szetalo Plus Md tablets are Clonazepam and Escitalopram. The mode of action of Szetalo Plus Md tablets is by alleviating excessive activity of neurons or nerve cells in the brain. This medicine also increases the level of certain chemical messengers in the brain, thereby improving mood. Directions for use of Szetalo Plus Md tablets should be strictly followed. This medication should be taken at the same time every day, with or without food. Szetalo Plus Md tablets are habit-forming, so the prescribed dose should be maintained to avoid an incidence of overdose. Sudden stopping of this medication is not advised. It is important to inform the treating doctor of all medicines taken for any chronic illnesses, as some can alter Szetalo Plus Md tablets' blood levels. Pregnant women or those planning to conceive should notify their doctor at the time of prescription of Szetalo Plus Md tablets.

Contraindications of Szetalo Plus Md Tablet

Do not take Szetalo Plus Md tablets or use caution:
If you are allergic to Escitalopram or Clonazepam, or any other ingredient of this tablet
If you are on treatment with Monoamine Oxidase Inhibitors (MAOIs) like Phenelzine and Selegiline
If you have liver failure or decreased liver function
If you are suffering from glaucoma (a painful eye condition that occurs when fluid pressure inside your eye rises quickly)
If you have decreased lung function or lung failure
If you are susceptible to breathing fluid into the lungs (aspiration)
If you are suffering from kidney disease with a likely reduction in kidney function
If you have an alcohol-dependence disorder or have a history of substance abuse
