- In the treatment of schizophrenia
- In the treatment of the bipolar disorder
- In alleviating unusual mood changes in manic depressive illness
Contraindications
- If you have narrow-angle glaucoma.
- If you have an allergy to risperidone, trihexyphenidyl, or any other active substances in the Sizodon Forte tablet.
- If you are diagnosed with dementia-related psychosis, it can increase the risk of death.
- If you have gastrointestinal illnesses
- If you are frequently suffering from urinary tract infections.

- You experience more side effects, especially If you stop taking this prescription suddenly after taking a high dose for a long time. Do not stop taking this medicine without first talking to your doctor.
- You are elderly. You might encounter an increased risk of orthostatic hypotension and renal injury.
- You may be at increased risk of Neuroleptic Malignant Syndrome. You should stop using Sizodon Forte tablet if you experience any side effects like an increase in body temperature, muscle rigidity, and altered consciousness after talking to your doctor.
- Your blood glucose and lipid profile must be monitored frequently. These indicators are assessed before the start of treatment as Sizodon Forte tablets can raise blood glucose and cholesterol levels in the body.
- You are under 18 years as the safety and efficacy of this medicine have not been verified.
- You have liver disease, use this medication with caution.

Interactions
Interactions with other medicines
- Sizodon Forte Tablet may counteract the effects of Levodopa.
- Carbamazepine lowers risperidone serum concentrations.
- Clozapine decreases risperidone clearance.
- When Risperidone is taken with dextromethorphan and doxylamine, side effects like drowsiness, dry mouth, heat intolerance, flushing, fast heartbeat, and memory issues may occur.
- When Risperidone is used with Vicodin (acetaminophen and hydrocodone), Ambien (zolpidem), or diazepam, adverse symptoms such as dizziness, drowsiness, and difficulties in concentrating may occur.
- When used with Risperidone, Tramadol may increase the risk of seizures.

- The food interactions of Sizodon forte are not observed in studies. Talk to your doctor about your queries regarding the food interactions.
