Sizodon Forte Tablet is a medicine used to treat schizophrenia that contains Risperidone and Trihexyphenidyl. Schizophrenia is a mental illness in which a person's ability to think, feel, and behave
normally is affected. Another use of the Sizodon Forte tablet is treating bipolar disorder and mania. Even if you don't think it's helping, keep taking the medication until your doctor advises you to stop taking it. Sizodon Forte Tablet works by interfering with the activity of specific chemical messengers in the brain. Sizodon Forte Tablet works well with or without food. Taking this medicine at a fixed time each day will ensure that the body receives a consistent dose. Follow the doctor's recommendations on dose and duration. It's important not to discontinue taking this medication without first checking with the doctor, as doing so could exacerbate your symptoms. Side effects of the Sizodon Forte tablet include nausea, constipation, and mouth dryness. Because this prescription can cause a rapid drop in blood pressure while changing positions, it's advisable to rise slowly from sitting or lying down. It also makes you drowsy and dizzy. Interactions with other medicines

- Carbamazepine lowers risperidone serum concentrations.
- Clozapine decreases risperidone clearance.
- When Risperidone is taken with dextromethorphan and doxylamine, side effects like drowsiness, dry mouth, heat intolerance, flushing, fast heartbeat, and memory issues may occur.
- When Risperidone is used with Vicodin (acetaminophen and hydrocodone), Ambien (zolpidem), or diazepam, adverse symptoms such as dizziness, drowsiness, and difficulties in concentrating may occur.
- When used with Risperidone, Tramadol may increase the risk of seizures.
