Sizodon 1 MG Description

Sizodon tablet is a prescription medicine, which is used to treat various mental disorders such as schizophrenia (inability to think, feel and act clearly) , mania ( hyperactivity and intense moods)

and autism (developmental disorder in children that impairs their ability to interact socially and can lead to learning disabilities). Sizodon tablets contain an active ingredient called Risperidone that belongs to the antipsychotic class of the medicine. It acts by blocking neurotransmitters such as serotonin and dopamine (natural chemicals that are found in the brain). Thus, decreases the dopaminergic transmission in the mesolimbic pathway present in the brain. This helps in relieving the patient of its symptoms and improves the mental well being. Sizodon tablets will only improve your symptoms and do not cure your illness. After evaluating your clinical condition, your consulting physician will determine the dose and frequency of Sizodon tablets. It takes about weeks to months for it to reach its full clinical effectiveness. This medication should not be used with alcohol and should only be taken at the prescribed amount. You can take these tablets with or without food. You may experience certain side effects such as increased sleepiness, tiredness, difficulty passing urine, anxiety, drowsiness, dry mouth and stomach pain
