Shine 25 mg Tablet is used to treat depression (symptoms of hopelessness, mood swings and sleep disturbances) in adults. It is also prescribed to treat neuropathic pain (pain due to nerve injury) and
migraine in adults. Shine 25 mg tablet belongs to a class of medicine generally used to treat symptoms of depression. The active ingredient in Shine 25 mg tablets is amitriptyline, which increases the level of mood-stabilising chemicals in the body and thus effectively helps in maintaining a mental balance and treating depression. Amitriptyline also has pain-reducing properties and treats migraine headaches and severe pain arising from any nerve damage. Shine 25 mg tablets should be taken as prescribed by a doctor. The duration and dose of this medicine will vary depending on the affected person’s condition and age. Side effects of Shine 25 mg tablets include nausea, constipation, dry mouth, and headache.
