Medical Description

Reswas Syrup is a medication primarily used for treating dry cough. It is a combination of two active ingredients, chlorpheniramine and levodropropizine, which work together to provide relief for dry cough. Chlorpheniramine is an antiallergic medicine that helps relieve allergy symptoms such as throat and nose irritation, sneezing, runny nose, and others. Levodropropizine, on the other hand, is a cough suppressant which also helps in reducing symptoms like a runny nose, sneezing, itching, and watery eyes.

Reswas syrup should be taken as prescribed by the doctor, with or without food. The dose of the medication will depend on the severity of the illness and how the patient responds to the treatment. It is important to continue taking the medication for the duration prescribed by the doctor. Stopping the medication too soon may cause the symptoms to return and worsen. Some other medicines containing similar medication are Rapitus Plus sugar free syrup, Dropizin syrup, and Reswas Ls sugar free.
