Directions for Use
- Petril Plus should be taken exactly as prescribed by the doctor.
- Take the tablet whole.
- Follow the directions correctly.
- The medication may be taken with or without food.

- Symptoms of overdose most often include convulsions, coma, dizziness, low blood pressure, nausea, vomiting, fast-beating heart, excessive sleepiness. Please contact your physician immediately or the nearest hospital in case of overdose.

Interactions
Interactions with other medicines
- Medications that interfere with the chemical substance (serotonin) in the brain, such as antidepressants, linezolid and intravenous methylene blue.
- Medications such as fentanyl, lithium, tramadol, tryptophan, buspirone, amphetamines, and St. John’s Wort.
- Medications to treat heartburn and acid reflux such as omeprazole, esomeprazole, fluvoxamine, lansoprazole, ticlopidine.
- Medicines used for pain relief (Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory medicines (NSAIDs).
- Aspirin
- Warfarin or other medications used for thinning the blood.
- Triptans used to treat migraine headaches.
- Medications such as carbamazepine (treat fits), lithium (treat episodes of mania in bipolar disorder)
