Driving

Can I drive if I have taken Petril Plus?

Alcohol

  • If you have low sodium blood levels
  • If you have any bleeding problems

Directions for Use of Petril Plus Tablet

  • Petril Plus should be taken exactly as prescribed by the doctor.
  • Take the tablet whole.
  • Follow the directions correctly.
  • The medication may be taken with or without food.

Interactions of Petril Plus Tablet

Interactions with other medicines

  • Medications that interfere with the chemical substance (serotonin) in the brain, such as antidepressants, linezolid and intravenous methylene blue.
  • Medications such as fentanyl, lithium, tramadol, tryptophan, buspirone, amphetamines, and St. John’s Wort.
  • Medications to treat heartburn and acid reflux such as omeprazole, esomeprazole, fluvoxamine, lansoprazole, ticlopidine.
  • Medicines used for pain relief (Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory medicines (NSAIDs).
  • Aspirin
  • Warfarin or other medications used for thinning the blood.
  • Triptans used to treat migraine headaches.
  • Medications such as carbamazepine (treat fits), lithium (treat episodes of mania in bipolar disorder)
