Pegihep 80 mcg injection contains peginterferon alpha-2B as the active ingredient. This injection is used in patients with chronic hepatitis C infection who show signs of liver damage. Peginterferon

alpha-2B acts on various molecules to inhibit the replication of the virus. This injection may not cure hepatitis infection, but it prevents the complications associated with the disease. Pegihep 80 mcg is injected under medical supervision only. You should not self-administer or swallow the injection. Before using this injection, inform your doctor if you are allergic to any of its ingredients. You should also tell your doctor if you ever had an organ transplant or are undergoing any other surgery, including dental surgery.
