Onak SR lotion is a skincare preparation. It is used for the prevention and treatment of acne and pimples. It contains resorcinol and sulphur as its active ingredients. Onak SR lotion gently clears up skin due to its antibacterial and keratolytic action. This medicine should be used as advised by your doctor. It is meant for external use only. While using this medicine, avoid excessive use of makeup and other products on your skin and try to follow a healthy skin care routine and diet. Do not pop acne as it can lead to bacteria and pus spreading on the skin that can cause the spread of acne and acne scars. Onak SR lotion should not be applied over infected and/or non-intact skin.

Clean the skin thoroughly with a mild cleanser before applying Onak SR lotion.
Cover the affected area with a thin layer of lotion and gently massage it till it gets absorbed.

Resorcinol has antibacterial properties. It works by stopping the growth of acne-causing bacteria. It also works as a keratolytic which means it loosens the skin and promotes exfoliation of dead skin.
Sulphur fights against acne-causing bacteria and also prevents the growth of bacteria.
