Nedol 5 MG Description

Nedol tablet is a prescription medicine mainly used to treat schizophrenia. Nedol tablet belongs to a class of medicines known as typical antipsychotic medicine and contains haloperidol as an active

ingredient. It primarily acts by blocking the action of some chemical messengers which affect a person's way of thinking and behaviour. Schizophrenia is a serious type of psychotic disorder. A person develops delusion (false and firm belief in something that is not true), hallucinations (a person sees or hears unreal things), dysfunctional behaviour, disordered thinking, and in some cases, suicidal thoughts. Nedol tablet is also used in Tourette's syndrome (characterised by repetitive movements or unwanted sounds called tics).
