Mopry 2% ointment 5gm is a topical medicine containing mupirocin as the active medicine. Mopry 2% ointment treats skin infections like furunculosis, folliculitis, and impetigo. Mupirocin works by sup

pressing the synthesis of vital bacterial proteins thereby, preventing bacterial growth and killing them. This ointment is for external use only. Mopry 2% ointment can be given to adults and children and is available on prescription. You should use this ointment at a dose and for a duration recommended by a doctor. Mopry 2% ointment is not recommended if you are allergic to mupirocin or any other ingredients of this ointment. While applying Mopry 2% ointment, you may experience side effects on the skin such as burning, itching, stinting, and dryness. If these side effects persists or worsens, contact your doctor immediately.
