Medical Description

Monticope tablet is a medication used to treat allergic rhinitis. It can alleviate various symptoms of the condition, including runny or stuffy nose, congestion, sneezing, itching, watery eyes and other allergic symptoms. This tablet contains montelukast and levocetirizine, which work together to block the production of chemicals that cause allergies and reduce inflammation in the airway, making breathing easier.

Allergic rhinitis, also known as hay fever, is an inflammation or swelling inside the nose caused by allergens. To ensure the best results, take Monticope tablet as directed by your doctor, following the correct dosage and duration of the treatment. Swallow the tablet with water, with or without food, and preferably at bedtime as advised by your doctor. A few other tablets with montelukast and levocetirizine as their composition are Levozet M tablet, Telekast L tablet, Montina L tablet, Montair Lc tablet, and Montek Lc tablet.

Before taking this medicine, inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding, and provide information about all other medications, supplements, and health conditions you have. While taking Monticope tablet, rinse your nose regularly to clear allergens from your nasal passage. As a precaution, avoid exposure to allergens that you know or suspect are triggering your allergy.
