Mikacin 100 MG Description

Mikacin Injection is an antibiotic containing Amikacin as an active ingredient. It belongs to the 'Aminoglycoside' group of medicine, mainly used to treat severe bacterial infection caused by various

causative organisms. It acts by altering the protein synthesis of the bacteria, interfering with its replication and growth, further resulting in cell death. Mikacin Injection should be used under medical supervision. It should be administered intravenously only. Mikacin Injection should be used cautiously and for severe infections only. This medicine can result in altered renal function and hearing disability. Thus, it should be closely monitored.
