• If you are allergic to metoprolol or any other ingredients of Metocard XL 50 tablet.
• If you have any kind of medical condition such as liver or kidney disorder, low blood pressure, diabetes, any kind of heart condition, asthma or any lung condition, etc.
• If you have an electrolyte imbalance, acid-base imbalance.
• If you have decreased heart rate.
• If you are on medication like verapamil, diltiazem, disopyramide (heart medicine).

• Dizziness

• A sudden drop in blood pressure when you stand from a seated or lying down position (orthostatic hypotension)

• You experience any allergic reactions.
• You had any side effects after taking Metocard XL 50 tablet.
• You have any medical conditions such as diabetes, heart condition, liver or kidney disease, muscle weakness, etc or an upcoming vaccination schedule.
• You have respiratory conditions like asthma, obstructive lungs disease (COPD).
• Metocard XL 50 tablet should not be used in children below 18 years of age.

• Store below 25°C. Protect from light and moisture.
• Keep it out of the reach and sight of children and pets.

• Metocard XL 50 Tablet is a beta-blocker used for treating hypertension, angina, and arrhythmia. It can also prevent migraines, heart attacks, and stroke. It may be taken alone or with other medications, and the dosage depends on the condition's severity.
• It should be taken regularly at the same time each day, even if you feel well. The main side effects are fatigue, headache, depression, diarrhoea, rash, slow heart rate, dizziness, and nausea.
• Metocard XL 50 Tablet may not be suitable for people with liver problems, slow heart rate, severe circulation problems, severe heart failure, or low blood pressure.
• Pregnant or breastfeeding mothers should consult their doctor before taking it. Blood pressure should be regularly checked. Avoid alcohol as it may increase side effects.
