Prolomet Xl 50 MG Description

Prolomet XL 50 tablet is used to treat high blood pressure, as well as several heart-related conditions like chest pain and heart failure. It contains metoprolol, which has specific actions on the heart muscles. However, it is important to note that there may be some side effects associated with using this medication. These can include dizziness, headaches and difficulty breathing. If you experience any of these symptoms and they persist or worsen, it is recommended that you seek advice from your doctor immediately.

Do not stop taking this medicine, as it can lead to a hypertensive crisis and worsen the condition. Prolomet XL 50 tablets should not be used by children below 18 years of age. If you are allergic to metoprolol or any other ingredients of the Prolomet XL 50 tablet.
If you have any heart condition such as heart block, uncontrolled heart failure, etc.
If you have asthma or any lung condition.
If you have low blood pressure or diabetes.
If you have renal or liver disease.
If you have an electrolyte imbalance or acid-base imbalance.
If you have a decreased heart rate.
If you are on medication like Verapamil, Diltiazem and Disopyramide (heart medicine).
