Merital H Tabs are generally used in the treatment of depression with symptoms of anxiety. It contains two main ingredients chlordiazepoxide and amitriptyline. Merital H tabs should only if prescribe
d by a doctor. Chlordiazepoxide is classified under a class of medications called benzodiazepines. It helps relieve the symptoms of anxiety by calming the central nervous system. Amitriptyline belongs to the class of tricyclic antidepressants, and it helps in the treatment of depression. Merital H Tabs should be used with caution in patients with pathology of any liver condition, as dose adjustments may be needed from time to time. Patients above 65 years of age should consult a doctor before taking Merital H Tabs and discuss the benefits and risks of taking them. It is very important to consult a doctor if you want to stop this medication, as abrupt stoppage may cause withdrawal symptoms. - Aceclofenac- Increases the risk of bleeding in the gastric system.

- Alprazolam- Increases risk of severity of side effects when combined with chlordiazepoxide.
- Benzocaine- Severity of side effects increases.
- Codeine- Severity of side effects increases.
