It contains medroxyprogesterone, a human made female hormone. This Tablet corrects the reduced hormonal levels of progesterone in the body and disorders associated with it.

Uses of Megest 2.5 MG
Megest Tablet is used in the treatment of irregular periods, irregular bleeding, absence of menstruation, endometriosis (tissue growth outside the uterus) and delayed menstrual cycle.
Contraindications of Megest 2.5 MG
- If you are allergic to medroxyprogesterone or any ingredients of Megest Tablet.
- If you are pregnant or trying to conceive.
- If you have a history of breast cancer, heart-related disorder or liver disorder or any other kind of pre-existing medical condition.
- If you have blood clotting disorders such as thrombosis and porphyria (a blood disorder that affects the nervous system and skin).

Megest Tablet is not recommended for breastfeeding women as it passes into breast milk. Do not take the Megest Tablet at least till your baby is six weeks old.
Can I drive if I have consumed Megest Tablet?
Megest Tablet does not affect your driving abilities. Be careful if you experience any side effects which can interfere with your driving abilities.
Can I consume alcohol with Megest Tablet?
Alcohol weakens bones by decreasing bone density when it is taken with Megest Tablet.
