While using this medication, it is vital to implement certain lifestyle changes, such as enjoying a healthy and balanced diet, staying active, quitting smoking, and regularly monitoring your blood sugar. These measures may assist in managing your diabetes and improving your overall health. Common side effects of this medication include diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, upset stomach, headaches, nasal congestion, and sore throat. Additionally, low blood sugar (hypoglycemia) may occur if you are taking other diabetes medications such as insulin or sulphonylurea, making it important to understand how to recognize and manage this condition.
