- Joypride 200 mg Tablet is used in,
- Treatment of schizophrenia
Contraindications
- If you are allergic to the active or inactive ingredients of Joypride 200 mg Tablet.
- If you have pheochromocytoma, an uncommon adrenal gland tumour. Taking Joypride 200 mg Tablet can cause a hypertensive crisis (a severe increase in blood pressure with a high risk of life-threatening).
- If you have a prolactin dependent tumour.

Other General Warnings
- You have heart disease. Joypride 200 mg Tablet may induce QT prolongation, a heart rhythm disorder, as well as an increased risk of blood clots.
- You have diabetes mellitus. Joypride 200 mg Tablet with caution because it may affect your blood sugar levels.
- You have hypokalemia or low potassium levels, use Joypride 200 mg Tablet with caution. Only once the potassium deficiency has been rectified may your doctor begin treatment with this prescription.
- You are elderly. There is an increased risk of side effects.
- You have seizure disorder. Joypride 200 mg Tablet may worsen your condition.
- You have Leukopenia. If you have an unexplained infection or fever, see your doctor right once.
- Joypride 200 mg Tablet is not indicated for use in children under the age of 18 since the safety and efficacy evidence have not been clinically proven.
Directions for Use

- Swallow Joypride 200 mg Tablet as a whole. Do not break, crush, or chew it.
- Joypride 200 mg Tablet can be taken before or after a meal.

- Diltiazem

- Pregabalin
- It is not recommended to use them simultaneously because there is a substantial chance of low or no efficacy.
- Tramadol
- These medications should be used with extreme caution as the risk of adverse effects are significantly high.
- Quinidine-Notify your doctor if you've taken one of these medications. These medicines should not be taken together since there is a considerable risk of serious heart side effects.
- Bromocriptine
- It is not recommended to use them simultaneously because there is a substantial chance of low or no efficacy.
- Ropinirole
- It is not recommended to use them simultaneously because there is a substantial chance of low or no efficacy.
Interactions with food items
- There are no known interactions of Joypride 200 mg Tablet with food. A regular diet can be continued unless advised otherwise by the doctor.
