Ibset Tablet contains ramosetron as its active ingredient that is used to treat or prevent symptoms like vomiting and nausea associated with any surgery or chemotherapy. It belongs to the class of medicines called antiemetic. You should take this medicine as directed by your doctor and follow the prescribed dosage and duration for an effective treatment. Serotonin is a natural hormone that is responsible for nausea and vomiting. Ramosetron works by binding itself to a receptor called 5-HT₃ and suppresses the binding of serotonin to it. Therefore, helps in preventing nausea and vomiting.
