Scientific studies conducted in animals did not show any harmful effects during pregnancy or birth or in newborns. Additionally, few studies conducted in pregnant women also did not show any adverse effects during the period of pregnancy and in the newborn baby. However, due to limited number of studies in humans, diabetes in pregnant women is usually treated with insulin in avoid the risk of abnormal defects in the baby.

There are no risk factors associated with breast feeding while taking this medicine. Doctors generally avoid this medicine in lactating mothers and prescribe only if it is very essential.

Can I drive if I have consumed Glyciphage 100mg Solu 100ml?

This medicine when taken alone does not have any effects on driving. But it may cause dizziness, unclear vision and other symptoms of low blood sugar when taken along with other anti-diabetic drugs.
