G-Nor-TZ tablet is used to treat diarrhoea caused due to bacteria, amoeba or mixed organisms. It contains a combination of norfloxacin and tinidazole. It should be avoided if you are allergic to it o

r you develop swelling, or pain in your limbs which is associated with the use of similar medicines. Do not take this medicine if you are pregnant or are breastfeeding. Take this medicine as directed by your doctor. Inform your doctor about all the medicines and supplements you are taking and all the conditions or diseases you suffer from, before starting this medicine. G-Nor-TZ tablet is not recommended in patients below 18 years of age.

Uses of G Nor Tz Strip Of 6 Tablets

G-Nor-TZ tablet is used in the treatment of diarrhoea caused by infections due to bacteria, amoeba or mixed organisms.

Contraindications of G Nor Tz Strip Of 6 Tablets

If you are allergic to norfloxacin and tinidazole or any other components of G-Nor-TZ tablet.
If you have a history of a tendon (tissue joining muscle to bone) infection or tendon rupture or damage with any medicine.
If you are pregnant or are breastfeeding.
If you have a brain and nerves-related problem.
If you have a history or any disorder related to blood.
If you are suffering from muscle weakness due to myasthenia gravis.

Breast Feeding

Can I take the G-Nor-TZ tablet while breastfeeding?

G-Nor-TZ tablet passes into the human breastmilk and could harm the breastfed baby. Hence, this medicine is not recommended during breastfeeding. You should consult your doctor before using this medicine during breastfeeding.

Driving

Can I drive if I have consumed the G-Nor-TZ tablet?

G-Nor-TZ tablet may make you dizzy and feel sleepy; you should avoid driving if you do not feel well or are unable to be alert.

Alcohol

Can I consume alcohol with the G-Nor-TZ tablet?

Alcohol and other preparations containing ethanol or propylene glycol should be avoided during treatment with the G-Nor-TZ tablet and 3 days following the treatment. It may produce symptoms like stomach cramps, nausea, vomiting, headache and skin redness.

You have tendon or nerve problems.
You have a condition that causes muscle weakness.
You have problems with your heart like irregular heartbeats, abnormal heart rhythm and slow heartbeat.
You have problems with your kidney, liver or lung.
You are pregnant or are planning to have a baby or are breastfeeding.
You have fits, restlessness, light-headedness, confusion and hallucinations or are suffering from a brain disorder.
You have rheumatoid arthritis or a history of joint issues.
You have a condition of glucose-6 phosphate dehydrogenase.
You must avoid being in the sunlight for too long as the G-Nor-TZ tablet may make you more sensitive to the sun.
You are above 60 years of age, as older people may be at the risk of developing tendon disorders like tendon rupture.
The patient on this treatment should drink enough water to keep the body hydrated as this medicine increases the chances of crystal formation in urine.
G-Nor-TZ tablet is not recommended in patients below 18 years of age as their safety and efficacy have not been established.
