This medicine contains febuxostat, which is an anti-gout medicine.
Uses of Febuget 40mg Tab 10'S
Febuget 40mg Tab 10'S uses include the treatment of a condition called gout, which is due to excess of a chemical called uric acid, that is, urate in the body. It is used for hyperuricaemia (high uric acid levels in the blood).
Contraindications of Febuget 40mg Tab 10'S
- Allergic to febuxostat.
- Severe kidney/liver disease.

- Febuget 40mg Tab 10'S side effects include: Nausea
- Joint pain
- Severe skin rashes (Steven's Johnson syndrome), blistering, shading of skin
- Increased liver enzymes in the blood

- Mercaptopurine (used in the treatment of cancer)
- Azathioprine (used to reduce immune response)
