Medical Description

Dutas T Plus capsule is used for benign prostatic hyperplasia treatment. It contains tamsulosin and dutasteride that relax the muscles in the prostate and urethra, reducing the enlarged prostate's size. Symptoms of BPH include incomplete emptying of the bladder, trouble passing urine, frequent need to pass urine and weak urine flow.

Take Dutas T Plus capsule in the exact dose and duration as prescribed by your doctor. Do not take more than the recommended dose. Before taking this medicine, inform your doctor about your complete medical history. Also, inform the doctor about all other medicines and supplements you take.

Tamsulosin and dutasteride are also active ingredients in the medications Veltam Plus tablet, Flodart Plus tablet, Tamdura capsule, Flokind D tablet and Urimax D tablet. Dutas T Plus capsule is not recommended for use in children below 18 years of age. This medicine is not meant to be used for the prevention of prostate cancer.

  • Long-term use of this capsule along with anti-HIV medicines like ritonavir, indinavir and antidepressants like nefazodone should be avoided.
