Desrina 50 mg Tablet is an antidepressant and is used in the treatment of depression. The main ingredient of Desrina 50 mg Tablet is desvenlafaxine. Depression causes a keen loss of interest in daily activities, and the patient feels unmotivated and low on energy. Desvenlafaxine works by increasing the levels of certain chemical substances in the brain called serotonin and norepinephrine, which help in reducing the symptoms of depression and creating a mental balance. The dosage and duration of Desrina 50mg tablet should be strictly followed as per the doctor’s instructions. Do not discontinue this medication abruptly without proper medical consultation. The side effects of desvenlafaxine include constipation, dizziness, weakness, sweating, rashes, swelling of face and throat, etc.
