• Desrina 50 mg Tablet is used in,
• Treatment of depression

• If you are allergic to desvenlafaxine or any other ingredient of Desrina 50 mg Tablet.
• If you are taking or have taken any medication belonging to the group of medications called Monoamine Oxidase Inhibitors for the treatment of depression in the last 14 days.

• Loss of appetite
• Rash
• Constipation
• Hives
• Pain or tingling in a body part
• Sweating
• Drowsiness
• Difficulty in urination
• Reduced sex drive in females
• Enlarged pupils
• Unusual bleeding
• Coma
• Confusion
• Problems with memory
• Seizures
• Irregular heartbeats

Other General Warnings

• You are taking a similar medication called venlafaxine.
• You are taking any herbal medicines like St. John’s Wort or tryptophan.
• You have recently undergone any surgery, including dental surgery, or you plan to have one.
• You have angle-closure glaucoma or any other eye condition.
• You are suffering from hypertension (high blood pressure).
• If you conceive during the course of Desrina 50 mg Tablets.

• Swallow Desrina 50 mg Tablet as a whole with a glass of water. Do not crush, chew, or break it.
• To prevent stomach upset, take Desrina 50 mg Tablet with food.
• Do not stop taking Desrina Tab without consulting your doctor.
• For optimal pharmacological effects, it is advised to take Desrina 50 mg Tab at the same time every day for the prescribed duration.
• Do not alter the dosage of Desrina Tab without consulting your doctor, as it can cause severe side effects and even death.

• Lithium- It is used in the treatment of psychiatric patients. Combining it with Desrina 50 mg Tablet can cause a serious condition called serotonin syndrome.
• Warfarin- It is used to prevent blood clots in conditions like deep vein thrombosis, etc. When combined with Desrina 50 mg Tablet, it can increase the risk of unusual and excessive bleeding.

Interactions with food items

• There are no known adverse interactions of Desrina 50 mg Tablet with food. A regular diet can be followed unless suggested otherwise by the doctor.
