Daniv 200 MG Description
Daniv Capsule contains a medicine called danazol as the active substance. It is used to treat endometriosis – an illness where some of the tissues that line the womb are found elsewhere in the body.
Daniv Capsule is also used for the treatment of breast cysts (lumps) which may be painful but not malignant. It works by changing the way some hormones act in your body. Daniv Capsule is used where other treatments have not worked or when they cannot be taken. Take this medicine in the exact dose and duration as prescribed by your doctor. Do not stop taking this medicine on your own. Before starting Daniv Capsule, inform your doctor if you are pregnant/breastfeeding and about your complete medical history.

Uses of Daniv 200 MG
- Daniv Capsule is used for the treatment of endometriosis – an illness where some of the tissues that line the womb are found elsewhere in the body.
- It is also used to treat breast cysts (lumps) which may be painful, but not malignant.
Contraindications of Daniv 200 MG
- If you are allergic to danazol or any of the other ingredients of Daniv Capsule.
- If you are taking a cholesterol-lowering medicine called simvastatin. If you are not sure what this medicine is, please confirm with your doctor.
- If you have a rare inherited illness called porphyria that affects your metabolism.
- If you are pregnant, might become pregnant or think you may be pregnant.
- If you are breastfeeding.
- If you have kidney, liver or heart disease.
- If you ever had blood clots (thrombosis).
- If you have a type of cancer that is affected by hormones.
- If you have unusual vaginal bleeding which has not been checked by a doctor.

Pregnancy

Daniv Capsule is contraindicated for use in pregnancy. Women capable of becoming pregnant should be advised to use an effective, non-hormonal method of birth control. If you become pregnant during treatment, this medicine should be immediately stopped.
Breast Feeding

Daniv Capsule is contraindicated for use in breastfeeding women.
Driving

Can I drive if I have consumed Daniv 200mg Capsules?

Daniv Capsule has no effect on the driving ability. However, if you experience any effects after taking this medicine that may affect your ability to drive safely, it is advised to avoid driving.
Alcohol

No, alcohol should not be consumed while you are taking Daniv Capsule because drinking alcohol while taking this medicine can make you feel sick or short of breath.
Other General Warnings
Talk to your doctor if

How Does It Work?
Daniv Capsule works by changing the way some hormones act in your body.
Directions for Use of Daniv 200 MG
- Take Daniv Capsule as a whole with sufficient water.
- Always take this medicine exactly as prescribed by your doctor.
- Do not cut, break or chew the medicine.
- Do not consume more than the prescribed dose.
- Do not stop taking this medicine on your own.
Interactions of Daniv 200 MG
Interactions with other medicines
- Some medicines can affect the way Daniv Capsule works or this medicine itself can reduce the effectiveness of other medicines taken at the same time.
- Inform your doctor about all the medicines, supplements or herbals you are currently taking or might take to avoid any possible interaction.
- Particular care should be taken if you are taking medicines like steroids such as testosterone, estrogen, progesterone (including hormone replacement therapy/HRT) and statins such as simvastatin.
- Daniv Capsule may increase the effect of the medicines used for the treatment of epilepsy, fits or convulsions (anticonvulsants), medicines used to thin the blood (anticoagulants such as warfarin), anaesthetics, cyclosporine and tacrolimus - used to stop the rejection of organs after a transplant and alfacalcidol (a form of vitamin D) used for vitamin D deficiency and illnesses where there is not enough calcium in the blood....
- Daniv Capsule may lower the effect of the medicines used for treating diabetes, high blood pressure (anti-hypertensives) and migraine.
Storage and disposal of Daniv 200 MG
- Store Daniv Capsule in a cool and dry place away from direct sunlight.
- Keep out of reach of children and pets.
Dosage of Daniv 200 MG
Overdose
If you think you have taken too much of Daniv Capsule, contact your doctor immediately or visit the nearest hospital.
Missed a Dose
If you missed any dose of Daniv Capsule, take it as soon as you remember. If it's time for your next dose, then skip the missed dose and continue with your regular dosing schedule. Do not take a double dose to compensate for the missed one....
