Damadol Injection 2Ml

• Damadol Inj 2 ml is used in,
• Treatment of moderate to severe pain

• If you are allergic to Damadol Inj 2 ml.
• If you have respiratory difficulties like asthma or hypercapnia. Damadol Inj 2 ml can worsen your condition.
• If you have ulcers. Damadol Inj 2 ml may aggravate your condition.
• If you are taking monoamine oxidase inhibitors (antidepressant medicines like Selegiline). It is recommended that you wait at least 14 days after stopping MAOI medication to begin treatment with this medicine.
• If you have a stomach or intestinal blockage, such as paralytic ileus. Damadol Inj 2 ml may worsen your condition.

• Nausea
• Constipation
• Sleepiness
• Dizziness
• Vomiting

Other General Warnings

• You are planning a pregnancy. Usage of Damadol Inj 2 ml for a long time Injections can affect the fertility of both men and women.
• You have suicidal tendencies or behavioural problems after taking Damadol Inj 2 ml.
• You are elderly patients. Due to the increased risk of renal and liver impairment in senior people, Damadol Inj 2 ml should be used with caution.
• You experience withdrawal symptoms. Do not discontinue the use of Damadol Inj 2 ml abruptly. Your doctor may prescribe a dosage-tapering programme to help you gradually stop using this medication.
• You have a history of heart, liver, or kidney ailments.
• You experience any symptoms of a major allergic response, such as skin rash, itching/swelling (particularly of the face/tongue/throat), extreme dizziness, difficulty breathing, etc., seek medical help right away.
• Damadol Inj 2 ml should not be administered to children under the age of 12 because there is no safety or efficacy data for these patients.

• Damadol Inj 2 ml should be administered by a doctor or a nurse.
• Do not self-administer Damadol Inj 2 ml.

Interactions with other medicines

• Damadol Inj 2 ml is known to interact with the following medicines:
• Amphetamines may make tramadol more likely to cause seizures.
• Cimetidine lengthens the half-life of tramadol, leading to its side effects.
• With tramadol, SSRIs(antidepressants) may increase the risk of seizures.
• Tricyclic antidepressants have been linked to an increased risk of seizures.
• MAOIs have been linked to an increased risk of seizures.
• In tramadol overdose, naloxone may increase the risk of seizures.
• Neuroleptics may enhance the likelihood of tramadol-related seizures and have CNS depressive effects that are cumulative.
• Opioids may enhance the risk of seizures and have CNS depressive effects that are cumulative.
• Quinidine (and other CYP2D6 inhibitors) may cause tramadol serum concentrations to rise, leading to an increased risk of side effects.

Interactions with food items

• Damadol Injection 2 ml may interact with grapefruit juice. Therefore, avoid intake of grapefruit juice with Damadol Injection 2 ml, as it may increase levels of the medicine in the body.
