Cognolin injection 4ml contains Citicoline as the active molecule. This injection is used in several conditions such as Parkinson's disease, Alzheimer's disease, head injury, cerebral vascular diseas
e (conditions that affect blood flow in brain), brain surgery, and disturbance of consciousness following brain surgery. Citicoline works by increases oxygen consumption and blood flow to the brain. It also increases levels of essential molecules in the brain. This medicine is only available on doctor's prescription and is always administered by a doctor or nurse. You should not self-administer or swallow the contents of this injection. Cognolin injection is not recommended during pregnancy or if you are allergic to any ingredients of Cognolin injection. Common side effects of this injection are headache, sleeping disturbances, blurred vision, changes in blood pressure, chest pain, and nausea.
