Ceftas 200 MG Description

Ceftas 200 tablet contains Cefixime, which is an antibiotic used to treat bacterial infections in various parts of the body such as the ear, nose, throat, sinuses, respiratory tract, urinary tract, biliary tract, and genital tract. It can also be used to treat typhoid fever. This medicine may cause some side effects, such as mild nausea, stomach pain, indigestion, and diarrhoea. If these side effects persist or bother you, please inform your doctor.

Taxim O 200mg tablet, Zifi 200mg tablet, Cefix 200mg tablet, and Cefolac 200mg tablet are other tablets containing cefixime as the main ingredient. Cefixime in Tab Ceftas inhibits the growth of infection-causing bacteria. Take this medicine as advised by your doctor for the prescribed duration. You should take Ceftas 200 with meals to avoid stomach upset.

It is important to complete the full course of antibiotics as directed by your doctor. Do not stop taking the medicine abruptly on your own, as this can lead to antibiotic resistance and the infection may recur. To take Ceftas 200 Tablet, swallow it whole and do not chew, crush or break it. You may take it with or without food, but it is better to take it at the same time every day, as advised by your doctor.
