Uses
Contraindications
- If you are allergic to Betamethasone or any other ingredients of Betsone Tablet.
- If you have any infection and have not yet started medicines to treat it.

- Prolonged treatment may cause retard growth in children

- You have any type of infection.
- You are pregnant or breastfeeding.
- You have diabetes, tuberculosis or fits.
- You have an underactive thyroid gland.
- You have heart, liver or kidney diseases.
- You have a condition of muscle weakness.
- You have osteoporosis (bones becoming weak).
- You have any eye problems like blurred vision, etc.
- You or your family members had or have glaucoma.
- You are suffering from any mental health problems.
- You recently had chickenpox, shingles, measles or have been in contact with a person who has it.
Directions for Use
- Take Betsone Tablet exactly as directed by the doctor.
- Swallow it whole with a glass of water. Do not break, crush or chew the medicine.
- It is essential to take it regularly and at a fixed time.
- Follow your doctor’s instructions. Do not exceed that dose more than that recommended.
Storage and disposal
- Betsone Tablet should be stored at room temperature, protected from moisture and heat.
- Keep them out of reach and sight of children and pets.
- Do not use expired or damaged medicines.
- Discard unused medicine properly. Do not flush it in the toilet or throw it into the drain.

How Does It Work?
Interactions
Interactions with other medicines
- Betsone Tablet may interact with other medicines. Discuss with your doctor about all the medicines, supplements or herbal preparations you are taking. Also, inform your doctor if you have a planned surgery or vaccination scheduled.
- Medicines like rifampicin, rifabutin (used in tuberculosis), carbamazepine, phenobarbitone, phenytoin, primidone (used to treat fits or seizures) may reduce the effects of this medicine. Thus, it should be used with caution.
- Medicines like insulin (and other diabetic medicines), other anti-hypertensive medicines (captopril, verapamil), blood thinners like warfarin, water pills, pain killers like ibuprofen, aspirin, acetazolamide (used in glaucoma) may increase the effects of this medicine when taken simultaneously.
- Other medicines like carbenoxolone, oral contraceptive pill, mifepristone, vecuronium, tretinoin, quetiapine should be used cautiously along with Betsone Tablet.
