Amit 10 MG Description
Amit 10 mg Tablet is a tricyclic antidepressant that aids in the treatment of depression, neuropathic pain (like diabetic neuropathy, post-herpetic neuralgia, and spinal cord illness), and migraines.
The symptoms of these ailments are severe enough to hinder one's regular life. Amit 10 mg Tablet is a prescription-only antidepressant medication. You should continue the recommended course of Amit 10 mg tablets even if you are feeling fine. Do not stop taking the medication without consulting your psychiatrist, as it can trigger additional complications. The doctor will taper the dosage of the medication before stopping it completely. Common side effects of Amit 10 mg are nausea, constipation, perspiration, dry tongue, weariness, trembling, dizziness, speech problems, palpitations, increased heart rate, and orthostatic hypotension. Interactions with other medicines
- Interaction of cisapride (gastroprokinetic class) with Amit 10 mg can cause palpitations, a change in pulse rate, dizziness, and excessive perspiration.
- Antipsychotics like clozapine, taken with Amit 10 mg, can increase the risk of heart problems.
- Fluoxetine belongs to the antidepressant class of medications. When combined with Amit Tablets, side effects such as tiredness, dry mouth, vision abnormalities, confusion, and so on are very high.
- When antibacterials like linezolid have co-administered with Amit 10 mg, disorientation, hallucinations, convulsions, and coma are side effects.
- There is a very high risk of side effects when selegiline (MAO inhibitors) and Amit 10 mg are taken together. After discontinuing selegiline, wait 14 days before starting the Amit 10 mg Tablet.

- Interaction of Amit 10 mg with any specific food is not known. A regular diet can be continued unless advised otherwise by the doctor.

- Hcl A. DESCRIPTION Amitriptyline HCl, a dibenzocycloheptadiene derivative, is a white, or practically white, odorless, crystalline compound which is freely soluble in water and alcohol.
